Bona lagler kunzle tasin etc all claim to be the best but are they all essentially the same or is there one manufacturer that stands out. You may be able to gain some additional help there. People refer to this as the halo effect if you want to google that term. Hand sanding will open the pores up and blend the scratch patterns otherwise the sheen and colour can look different around the edge of the room as the wood will absorb the oil or finish differently.

I will say there are floor sanders out there that aren t as good as others but that s the same with anything. There s nothing in your posts that isn t relevant and worth saying.
